Famous Kenyan athlete Mr Ezekiel Kemboi has denied stabbing his girlfriend last night in Eldoret town.
The athlete who is both famous for his running and dancing prowess has already written a statement with the police concerning the last night incident.
This is coming less than a week after his qualification to represent Kenya at the Olympic games later next month.
Speaking to a local radio station, Mr Kemboi has denied stabbing anybody and has claimed that the knife was actually meant to stab him when about seven men and the lady tried to stab him as they robbed him.
Anne Njeri, the lady who is alleged to have been stabbed by Kemboi is now receiving treatment at a hospital in Eldoret.
Kemboi has however denied the allegation that Njeri is his girlfriend but has admitted that he knows her and has seen her around Eldoret town.
